The Elancé Pendant is designed by Spanish designer Héctor Serrano. Serrano believes in making the material the protagonist in his designs. The shade has been created using SIMETECH®, a mesh made from stainless-steel and silicone. This mesh is easy to mould and fold into organic-looking shapes, something that was essential in creating a fluid, natural and asymmetrical form that represents a state in dance.

The irregular shape of The Elancé Pendant means that the form changes depending on the observer’s point of view, giving the shade life and volume. When illuminated, the diffused light breathes more life into the pendant, as a display of light and shadows is projected against the surrounding walls. The Elancé can be displayed individually or as multiples with the other pendants from The Ballet Collection as an eye-catching feature in the home. The customisation in how these pendants can be installed makes them perfect for building larger displays in commercial spaces such as a feature in a hotel lobby or scattered throughout a restaurant to create ambient lighting.
