Stemlite Floor Lamp by Gubi

The Stemlite floor lamp was first developed and released in 1962 by Bill Curry and is now reissued as part of the Stemlite collection by Gubi. Curry was inspired by his own background in aerospace, wanting to produce a light that embodied the style and look of the space age whilst creating a lamp that is made from one seamless piece. The gorgeous frosted glass lampshade resembles the shapes and silhouettes of spatial entities.
