Masters 99cm Stool by Kartell
Kartell now offer two stool versions of their
Masters Chair (winner of the Good Design Award 2010 and the Red Dot Award 2013, and a worldwide best seller). To transform the design of the chair into a stool, the legs are lengthened and the seat shrunk, but the frame's unmistakable graphic look, created by the weave of the silhouettes of three iconic chairs, remains the same.
The stools are available in two sizes:
109cm tall (75cm seat height) and 99cm tall (65cm seat height). The white, grey, black, rusty orange and sage green finishes are also made from recycled thermoplastic techno polymer with mineral filler as part of Kartell's sustainability initiative, Kartell Loves the Planet.
The Kartell Masters Stool has always been available in a range of vibrant colours. Now, the Masters colour palette has also been updated to include sophisticated metallic finishes (gold, chrome and titanium). With practicality at its heart, the Masters Stool is lightweight and suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
The Masters collection, designed by Philippe Starck for Kartell, is a powerful tribute to three unmistakable symbolic chairs - "Series 7" by Arne Jacobsen, the "Tulip Armchair" by Eero Saarinen and the "Eiffel Chair" by Charles Eames. Starck blends these ideas to create a hybrid and birthing a fusion of original and engaging styles.
