Artemide Stellar Nebula LED Table Lamp

The Artemide Stellar Nebula Table Lamp was designed by BIG, due to their desire to bring attention to artisanal glass blowing techniques. Each shade is hand blown by master glass makers, the crystal glass shape that is created is then treated with an dichroic finishing process - this finishing process provides the lamp with a solid and protective clear coat, which creates beautiful colour reflections upon the surface when the lamp is illuminated. The dichroic finish utilises an innovative and sustainable deposition process PVD (which stands for Physical Vapour Deposition). This results in 0 emissions, 0 waste and use of only 5% solvents.

The Stellar Nebular LED Table Lamp also does not feature any fixed elements to the base of the blown glass diffuser, it simply utilises a transparent glass holder which can accommodate the varying shapes of the Stellar Nebular. The diffuser is carefully placed on this base, enhancing the simplicity without interfering with the light coloured reflections of the light that filter through the dichroic finish and make the lamp resemble a bubble.
