Hector’s work focuses primarily on creating innovative pieces that have character while maintaining timelessness and attention to detail. The shade is made using metallic slats that create a complex-looking, geometric pattern. These slats are handmade using cutting-edge technology of plastic injected polycarbonate which creates a material that is delicate to the eye yet durable and strong. Standing on three legs that join in the centre, the V Floor Lamp has a strong personality, making the impossible seem possible.

The light source is partially concealed by the slats of the shade, which illuminates some parts of the shade while casting others into shadow. The top of the shade is exposed, allowing for light to escape, filling the room with light.
