&Tradtion Blown Pendant Light

For his first collaboration with &Tradition, designer Samuel Wilkinson was inspired by both lighthouses and raspberries, and the result—Blown—is predictably unique; a stylish pendant whose unusual quilted shade is sure to attract attention.

The &Tradition Blown pendant is produced through a mixture of modern digital technologies and traditional glass-blowing techniques, and the result is a design which is equal parts classical and contemporary. A metal mould is created using 3D CAD software to give &Tradition’s team of expert glassblowers total control over the inflation of a series of diamond-shaped bubbles, so as to ensure that light is reflected at the optimal angles. This hybrid process echoes &Tradition’s dedication to bridging the gap between old and new and makes the Blown pendant, and Samuel Wilkinson, a more than welcome addition to their icon-filled catalogue.

As a standalone feature this pendant light is a warm, elegant solution for any home, hotel, or restaurant environment, but create a cluster of several pendants for even more atmospheric results. Available in a clear silver lustre which allows the diamond pattern to be softly projected around the room.
