ASA Table Lamp by Santa & Cole

The ASA Table Lamp is one of Miguel Mila's original designs, created for his own company TRAMO in 1961. Mila, a pre-industrial designer in post-war Spain, is known for creating items that despite their simplicity, hide a certain depth hinted by their carefully chosen names. The ASA table lamp is made of a single, continuous tube that runs along the diffuser and acts as a handle to move the lamp around. The same tube also forms the legs of the lamp. A robust yet lightweight design, the ASA has been re-edited by Santa & Cole; both the all-white lamp as well as the original 1961 design with the black metal tube.

The lamp has a translucent methacrylate shade that creates a warm ambience. The ASA table light can be placed all around your home or office, on any surface or shelf, as well as on the floor. Its handle allows you to easily carry and move the lamp and there is a button-like switch located on the shade, which allows you to turn the light on or off by pulling it.
