Resident Bloom table Lamp

The Bloom table lamp by Tim Rundle draws inspiration from paper lanterns and boasts a graceful design. Its frosted blown glass shade is illuminated by light filtering through a delicate perforated mesh core, creating a one-of-a-kind pattern. The lamp sits on a plated stainless steel base and emits a warm, consistent hue upwards. The use of contrasting materials, such as perforated steel and frosted glass, allows for control over the light output, resulting in a softer glow. The metallic mesh core projects a soft texture onto the shade while directing light downwards, creating a unique character shift when turned on or off. The design process involved extensive prototyping of the lit effect, with various perforation patterns being tested.
