Northern Acorn Pendant

The Acorn Pendant was designed by Atle Tveit, a Norwegian designer who draws inspiration from nature for his designs. Tveit’s philosophy is that good design is synonymous with simple design, resulting in his work being uncluttered and free from unnecessary details. This can be seen in the Acorn Pendant, with each aspect of the design being carefully considered. The curved lines of the pendant create an organic-looking structure that resembles an empty acorn shell. This shade is suspended from the ceiling by a silk cord that conceals the power cable within.

The Acorn Pendant is made from aluminium and beech or walnut, and is available in three finishes: Black, White, or Grey. The combination of natural materials and unassuming colours creates an elegant display that compliments contemporary interiors, both domestic and commercial. The direct downward lighting makes the Acorn Pendant ideal for hanging above kitchen islands and dining room tables, to illuminate the surfaces below. Display individually or as multiples to create a display that is as elegant as it is functional.
