New Works Tense LED Wall Light

The Tense wall light by New Works was designed by Panter & Tourron and uses a unique material called Tyvek to create the stunning crinkled shade. The Swiss design duo discovered this 100% recyclable material and first experimented with other fabrics, 'We looked at kites, tents, ultra-lightweight sports equipment, and photography gear. Later our idea emerged from that research'. The material they finally chose beautifully and delicately diffuses the light and creates a calming ambient glow through the space.

The magnetic shade simply slips into place onto the hardwired powder-coated aluminium wall mount and houses an integrated LED light source. This light source provides a soft outpouring of light that highlights the elegance of the fabric shade. Using the discreet toggle switch on the wall mount, you can easily turn the Tense wall light on and off. This makes it a perfect addition to a bedside table where ambient light is soothing and incandescent.
