Metropoli LED Outdoor Ceiling / Wall Light by Luceplan

The Metropoli Wall/Ceiling Light is a versatile and functional light that exhibits classic design ideals, it was designed by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto in 1992. With a round silhouette, this LED light is made from a simple aluminium structure paired with a polycarbonate diffuser to protect and diffuse the integrated LED light source.

The lights appearance is somewhat reminiscent of a porthole - the typical windows in ships. Thanks to the structure of the diffuser, the light from the illuminate is filtered and distributes a soft light generously. Metropoli is suitable for basic lighting, it distributes pleasant room light, for example in corridors or stairwells. The Metropoli has an IP rating of 65 and so is also suitable for outdoor use, being perfect to line driveways or to put by your back door. The ceiling and wall lamp comes in a painted aluminium and is available in a smaller size (D20/17) and a larger size (S20/27).
