VL Studio Wall Light by Louis Poulsen

The VL Studio wall lamp was designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen in the 1940s as part of his architectural project for the Radiohuset. The Radiohuset (The Radio House) was the headquarters for the Danish Broadcasting Corporation based in Copenhagen and Lauritzen created this wall light to use outside studio doors to signify in red or green whether a recording was taking place. Having since gone out of production, Louis Poulsen reintroduce this light with a fresh perspective.

The VL Studio wall light comes in two metal colour finishes, matt black or brushed brass, and features a beautiful opal glass diffuser which conceals the light bulb for a soft and ambient glow. The lampshade is also movable, being able to move 90° to the left and right so you can direct the light where needed. This wall lamp is perfect for a wide variety of settings and its small size with effective light distribution means it can be used in rows or alone to suit your needs.
