Le Klint 349 Floor Lamp

Designed by Aage Petersen in 1946, the 349 Floor Lamp is an elegant yet practical light that features a geometric frame with striking brass elements. The 349 has a delicate hand-folded lampshade that is made of either plastic foil or paper. The standard plastic foil is UV-resistant and fire-retardant. The paper shade is manufactured in Germany following Le Klint’s strict standards. Unlike the plastic foil variant, the paper shade will slowly patinate over time, forming a slightly golden hue. Each shade is hand-pleated by highly skilled workers in Denmark.

The stand is extendable from 113cm to a total height of 158 cm. The arm can be adjusted and the lampshade can be tilted, giving you the freedom to angle and direct the light wherever needed. This creates a delicate balance between form and functionality, making the 349 ideal for use as a reading light beside a sofa. The pleated shade diffuses light into a gentle glow that surrounds the lamp and fills the room with a warm and welcoming ambiance.
