Le Klint 343 Table Lamp

The 343 Table Lamp was designed in 1948 by Gunnar Biilmann Petersen for a commission by Le Klint, created especially for Le Klint’s iconic pleated shades. The 343 features a green mouth-blown glass base - a departure from Le Klint’s standard designs, which are often made from wood, steel, or brass. The vibrant green base alongside Le Klint’s shade merges classic Danish design with contemporary expression. Brass detailing at the top of the base adds an ornamental touch to the design that compliments the green glass.

The 343 is available with a choice of a plastic foil shade or a paper shade. The plastic shade is UV-resistant and fire-retardant, while the paper shade is a crisper white and is manufactured in accordance with Le Klint’s strict standards. Both materials are hand-pleated in the Pleating Studio in Odense Denmark. These pleated shades gently diffuse light into a gentle glow that surrounds the lamp.
