The Gubi Multi-Lite Portable lamp is a creation of Louis Weisdorf, a Danish architect and industrial designer who graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 1954. He went on to work in various design fields such as graphic design, interior design, architectural design, and industrial design, becoming one of the youngest designers to do so.
This edition to the Gubi Multi-Lite Collection has been redeveloped to be a more compact design with an integrated USB-charging facility, available in four colours. The lamp has three dimming settings which can be activated by touch. Bringing further flexibility to one of the most adaptable light designs of the 20th century, the Gubi Multi-Lite portable lamp can be easily carried around and outside of the home, making the lightweight Multi-Lite portable lamp the ideal companion to take to outdoor events and cosy alfresco evenings.
