Spun Table Lamp by Flos
Designed by Sebastian Wong in 2003, the Spun table lamp won the prestigious Red Dot design award in 2004. Wong’s design aesthetic is inspired by the balance between function, aesthetics and refinement which is reflected in the simplistic, modern and functional design of the table lamp. The Spun table light was the eventual inspiration for the Flos Architectural range; the
Soft Spun, and with a timeless style adds a touch of 1960s glamour to interiors.
Named after the technique used to create the lamp, the shade is made out of aluminium, and is topped with a sandblasted glass diffuser which works to produce a soft, glare free and diffused light. The table light also features a dimmer on the cable, allowing the user to control light output to suit ambience.
Available in black, white and mud, the puritan style makes this light a suitable addition to a wide range of interior styles, both modern and with a vintage edge and the collection also includes a
floor lamp. Available in two sizes the smaller T1 and the larger T2, it is ideal as a table, desk or bedside lamp.
