Skygarden S1 Pendant Light by Flos

The Skygarden pendant light is an award winning suspension by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders for Flos. Winning the 2008 ELLE Décor International Design Award and the Red Dot Design Award, the Skygarden S1 was inspired by Wanders’ beloved antique decorated ceiling, affectionately nicknamed his ‘Skygarden’.

The Skygarden was designed in 2008 and its hemispherical shade has a mechanically-processed cast plaster diffuser that is intricately detailed with images of various floras from plaster, finished with white paint. The Skygarden S1 pendant light provides diffused light emission, and is popularly used in kitchens due to its easy clean surface.

The ultimate in classic meeting contemporary, the Skygarden pendant is available in four colour finishes; glossy white, matt black, matt gold or rusty brown, and is sure to make a striking centrepiece in any interior. The Skygarden suspension is also available in a larger size and also in a recessed version, if ceiling height is at a premium.
