The Case Solid Downlights are designed by British designer Terence Woodgate. Woodgate is known for his stripped-down approach to design, which is reflected in this sleek and elegant collection. The pure conical form and rounded inner edge at the shade base are a signature of the Solid Downlights. The shades are all made using natural materials – marble, oak, or walnut. Because of the natural state of these materials, the colours and graining on each shade will vary slightly, leaving you with a truly unique piece.
To maintain the clean look of the Solid Downlights, all fixings are hidden within the shade. They have been designed to leave a shadow gap between the ceiling and shade to allow for lamp cooling. These lights can be fitted individually, in office spaces or as a task light in kitchens, or as multiples, illuminating the length of a hallway.
