Case is a designer lighting and furniture brand that was founded in 2006 by Paul Newman. With a distinguished career in furniture making, Newman started his path in the 1980s, working from a “dismal workshop” in North London with two friends from art college. After a successful exhibition at the 1988 Milan Furniture Fair, the Australian retailer Aero started to produce Newman’s collection under licence. After a successful decade of opening Aero franchises in the UK, Newman left the business and continued to design for other retailers.
With all of this experience and know-how behind him, Newman decided to open Case, a brand that seeks to create products at affordable prices using modern techniques. With a plethora of designers contributing to the brand, including the renowned British designer Terence Woodgate, Case sells worldwide, collaborating with many well-know retailers and with direct customers.
The Case lighting collection includes pendant lights, ceiling lamps and table lamps that are all crafted with durable materials for a long life and timeless aesthetic.
