Northern Unika Pendant

The Unika Pendant was designed by Danish designers Anne Louise Due de Fønss & Anders Lundqvist. Originally, they created the pendant for Restaurant Grønbech and Churchill in Copenhagen. The pendant is a contradiction between its delicate and solid components. The base is made of solid brass while the shade is mouth-blown glass. The combination of the two creates a soft, curved profile that has a clean and industrial look. The shade is available in two sizes: 13.5cm and 20cm. As each shade is handmade, there will be variations in thickness and imperfections in the glass from piece to piece - an addition of uniqueness and subtle honesty.

The Unika Pendant adds a touch of elegance to any room, whether illuminated or not. Available in three finishes, transparent glass, white glass, and grey glass, all of which diffuse the light into a warm glow that surrounds the shade as well as providing a direct-downward light. The Unika fits into both domestic and commercial spaces, providing an elegant lighting solution in a living room or dining room, or used to create a striking visual display when installed in clusters in bars and restaurants.
