The Oslo Wood Floor Lamp was created by designer, founder, and CEO of Northern, Ove Rogne. Ove, who was brought up surrounded by Norwegian wilderness, uses nature as an inspiration for his works. The Oslo Wood Lamp is a perfect example of this, with Ove stating that it reminds him of light shining through trees growing around a city centre. The shade diffuses light into a soft glow, while the opening at the top of the shade directs light upward, filling the room with light. A gimbal on top of the tripod base allows the shade to be rotated to angle the light in any direction.
