Marset Djembe LED Ceiling Light

The Marset Djembe LED Ceiling Light was designed by Joan Gasper who was inspired by the echo of a drum creating musical compositions of light on the ceiling. This inspiration has resulted in the bell-shaped structure that characterizes this striking design. The word Djembe is also the name of an African percussion instrument which is something that evokes movement and vibrations. This has inspired artists such as Jose Berrio to create vibrant illustrations depicting the feeling he gets when in the presence of the Marset Djembe light. The rotomolding technique used by Gasper in the creation of the Djembe collection allows for contrasting interiors and exteriors. The bright white internal walls of the ceiling light reflect the light source and produce a bright downlight that is perfect for over a dining area or workspace.

The stone-like exterior is available in four different colour finishes: red, grey, white, and sky blue. The stone effect creates the perception of great weight which is then paired with the large size of the lamps. This large volume and hardy exterior is then in juxtaposition with the spacious smooth white interior that creates a high-quality light ideal for any setting.
