Henningsen had a scientific approach to light and continued to create designs based on the same system, with the three shades and dispersed reflection through glass reducing glare and shadow. This Pale Rose edition of the popular PH 3/2 Table Lamp features mouth-blown opal glass shades paired with brushed brass elements, a combination that is both elegant and timeless. The three-shade system conceals the light source to eliminate glare from the lamp while diffusing light to create a soft glow.

The downward-directed light from the PH 3/2 Pale Rose Table Lamp is filtered through each layer of the shade, creating an evenly distributed island of light.
