PH 2/1 Table Lamp by Louis Poulsen

The PH 2/1 table lamp is characterised by its mouth-blown glass lampshade that is made up from 3 separate shades that act to evenly diffuse the light. This design of using a spiral effect to conceal the light source, was developed by Poul Henningsen back in 1925-26, collaborating with Louis Poulsen to first release it in an exhibition in Paris. This shade system has now been made into many different lights, such as pendants, floor lamps and chandeliers over the decades and was particularly popular in homes in the 1930s.

Now still available in the modern day, the PH 2/1 table light carries on Henningsen's legacy with a beautiful brass body, available in 3 different finishes, and a wonderful white opal glass shade. The soft glow lights up the space splendidly and its chic and vintage design means it will look stunning in any setting, whether at home, at work or in a commercial interior.
