Vilhelm Wohlert was commissioned in 1957 to design a wall light to decorate the honorary house of Niels Bohr in Copenhagen. Le Klint have now relaunched the Mushroom wall light, with a wooden base of untreated light oak and their signature pleated shade.
The pleated shades are hand folded by technicians at the Le Klint's factory in Odense, a trade that takes years to master. The name of the wall light, Mushroom, obviously derives from its intriguing fungus like shape. With a closed, diffused light, this wall lamp emits a warm glow perfect for ambience. Suitable for lounge areas and bedrooms, this detailed lamp will look both and chic and vintage in your room.
