Designed in 2013 by Christian Troels, the Mutuatio table lamp has a minimalist design at its forefront. In German, the name means 'transformation', which references the adjustable head which transforms the lamp's shape. Using clean, simple lines Troels produced a sleek and modern table light with an uncluttered profile. The Mutatio has a cylindrical shape with a shade that can open and close, allowing you to angle and direct the light where needed.
The Mutatio table light is painted in contrasting black and white colours, resulting in a dynamic and striking light that illuminates light to the maximum. A handy and contemporary-looking lamp, this table light will work best on bedside tables, desks, and side tables to create ambience and directed light for task lighting. Suitable for home and professional spaces, the Mutatio complements contemporary and minimalistic interiors. In 2014, Mutatio won Best Design for Lighting at Copenhagen's Interior Design Awards Show.
