Le Klint Celine Pendant

At the end of the 1920s, Danish architects Kaare Klint and Ivar Bentsen worked extensively with Royal Frederiks Hospital, transforming it into a museum. From 2020 to 2024, when the Designmuseum Danmark was closed for renovations, OEO Studio was in charge of designing a new guest area. They decided to pay tribute to Le Klints history with Designmuseum Danmark by designing The Celine pendant. The Celine is in keeping with the design process of Kaare Klint and his "uncompromising, aesthetic, detail-rich, timeless and grandiose expression".

Despite the seemingly simplistic look, The Celine has a deceptively complicated design which consists of an outer shape made of solid brass and a folded interior shade. The hand-folded paper diffuses light from the pendant, creating a soft glow. This makes The Celine perfect in rooms throughout your home which require ambient lighting, such as bedrooms and living rooms.
