The Verona pendant was designed by Sven Middelboe in 1968 and is still regarded as one of the most iconic pendants in Sven Middelboe’s wide range of lighting designs. Inspired by the grand amphitheater, Arena di Verona, inside the city of Verona, this stunning pendant is formed of 8 shades that diffuse a beautiful glare-free light. Sven Middelboe managed to design the shades so there are no visible suspensions between the shades, making them almost floating in the air. This effortless design has a timeless nature which means it is just as popular today as it was in 1968.
