Mite Anniversario LED Floor Lamp by Foscarini

Expanding upon the Foscarini Mite floor lamp, the Mite Anniversario celebrates 20 years of the iconic light designed by Marc Sadler. First released in 2001, the Mite floor light was born from collaboration between the designer and Foscarini. Sadler wanted to create a fixture that would utilise fibreglass and carbon fibre after seeing the beauty of it whilst working on a project producing tennis rackets and golf clubs. What resulted was a floor lamp that uses fibreglass fabric with carbonium thread spiralling down it, creating a wondrous and mythical aesthetic.

The Mite Anniversario floor light updates the original design, with the addition of two integrated LED boards that provide an upward, downward and overall glow that is wider, far-reaching and diffused. The carbonium thread used is also thinner and put on a wider spiral to create a different effect as the thread winds down the base. The base is also changed, now made from stunning black marble for a refined and elegant look. Suitable for many settings, the Mite Anniversario LED comes with a dimmer switch and will provide for all of your lighting needs.
