Nesso by Artemide

Giancarlo Mattioli was a famous designer, who rose to fame in the mid 20th century. He's most known for the Nesso table lamp that won the Studio Artemide Domus competition in Milan (1965). Nessino's older sibling, the Nesso lamp is a true celebration of the 1960s sensibility. The lamp is made from the, then newly available, termoplastic raisin and is available in white or orange colour option. The lamp has become an icon in lighting design and is now housed in numerous museum collections, including the NY Museum of Modern Art.
