a-emotional light Blum

The Blum Collection has been designed by Arturo Alvarez for a-emotional light. Arturo introduces steel thread into his repertoire with the design of this collection. Each pendant is handmade, using a piece of steel thread wrapped and wound around itself until organic-looking spheres are formed. These spheres are then combined to create the structure of the pendant. The result is a delicate pendant that seems to be as light as a cloud. Alvarez often references nature in his work, with The Blum Collection being no exception. When illuminated, the hand-spun formations appear to bloom with life.

The Blum Collection consists of a wall light and a pendant. These look fantastic on their own, adding a subtle beauty to a room. Alternatively, they can be installed as multiples, combining the wall light and pendant to create a visual display that can be designed to fit any interior.
