Crafted from transparent glass, the Tom Dixon Press lights are reminiscent of ship buoys. These heavyweight lighting solutions are bold and durable, featuring a grooved and textured diffuser. Press gets its name from the process in which these lights are made; they are manufactured by dropping molten glass at 1,200 degrees into iron moulds, and pressed at a high pressure to create the icon textured silhouettes.
The silhouette comes in various forms, a conical or spherical pendant, a rounded surface light or a cylindrical table lamp. Each form emits a stunning glow and creates linear patterns which bounce across your wall or ceiling. The thick, industrially-pressed glass is designed to catch and refract the light and to last over time.
