The Slamp Cactus collection was designed by Adriano Rachele and is inspired by the spikes of a cactus - hence the name. They are available in diverse shapes and in a choice of two materials, each with a character of its own. The diffuser of Cactus is composed of several synthetic plates, hooked together to form a closed shape with spikes in all directions. They are curated from white Opalflex or, as it is the case for the Cactus Prisma, of transparent Lentiflex for a shimmering appearance.
Due to its unique properties in terms of light distribution, this beautiful yet unusual design provides a satisfying glow and impressive prismatic reflections - immediately drawing attention to itself. When switched on, the shadows that the spines create offer an aesthetically pleasing effect and give the lamp an extremely interesting look.
As a floor lamp Cactus is high and slender, as a table lamp it is available as a higher and as a smaller, rounded version. The suspension has also a wide, ball-shaped diffuser. The flat, round base of the floor and table lamps is made of stainless steel for stability.
