Northern Diva

The Diva Collection was created by Peter Natedal and Thomas Kalvatn Egset. The design duo pays homage to their heritage, with each piece handmade using traditional tools and techniques of Norwegian craftsmanship. The shades are made from 32 individual strips of oak, expertly shaped into their spiralling form. Oak is used for this collection due to its strength and ability to be twisted and shaped into its required structure.

The collection includes a pendant and a floor lamp. Both live up to their name, taking center stage in any interior and drawing the eye of those around it. Due to their spiralling form, the shades appear different depending on the vantage point of their audience, creating multiple versions of the design depending on where they’re viewed from. A frosted glass sphere diffuses light from the centre of the Diva Lamp, gently diffusing light into a soft glow that surrounds the shade. Perfect for adding a welcoming ambiance to any interior.
