The Caché Collection was designed by French designer Aurélien Barbry. The collection includes a pendant and a floor lamp which both share the same minimalistic, sleek design. Barbry is renowned for his uncluttered designs that are free from any unnecessary details, something that is perfectly showcased in the Caché range. The metal shade guides light downward into functional task lighting. The angled frame of the floor lamp makes it an ideal reading lamp next to a sofa or desk, while the downward light from the pendant can be utilised above a kitchen island or dining room table.
The Caché Collection gets its name from the French word meaning ‘hidden’. The name represents the hand-pleated diffuser that is tucked into the shade, almost completely hidden from view. This element is synonymous with Le Klint, who traditionally use folded paper and plastic foil to create lampshades across their brand. As well as adding an elegant detail, this pleated diffuser creates glare-free, ambient lighting. The contemporary aesthetic of the Caché is suited to modern interiors including hotel lobbies and offices.
