Foscarini Plena

An organic and elegant luminaire, the Foscarini Plena collection was designed by Eugenio Gargioni and Guillaume Albouy in 2018. Plena is named after the moon and although it is large with a diameter of 70cm, it appears almost lightweight floating in the room. It consists of a curved silhouette that resembles a photographers reflector and adds a unique character to your interior.

The shape of the Foscarini Plena changes depending on the angle you are viewing it and the pendant appears to cradle the light source, the integrated LED light source is fitted into the hanging arm, projected upwards and then reflected into the room. The result is an ambient indirect glow that provides an inviting atmosphere. The illumination of the Plena LED Pendants can be easily dimmed, Foscarini also offers a MyLight version which allows you to control the lighting output from your phone.
