Originally designed in 1993 by Jozeph Forakis, the Foscarini Havana collection gets its name and its silhouette from the Havana cigar. These lights boast an elongated form with tapered ends, made up of four sheets of polyethene that are joined by subtle metal rings. The Havana range is a classic design and is even exhibited at the MoMA in New York, it boasts a distinctive shape and hosts an E27 light source that is able to escape in a subtle bem through the top and bottom of the shade. The illumination is also diffused through the material for an even and widespread glow.
2005 saw the growth of the Foscarini Havana collection, introducing outdoor lighting solutions. The range now boasts pendants, floor lamps and a wall light - all in a minimalistic white finish that can adapt to a range of spaces. The even light emission presents an inviting ambient illumination that is perfect for creating a calming atmospere.
