Foscarini Birdie

An iconic collection for the brand, the Foscarini Birdie was designed by Ludovica and Roberta Polomba who drew inspiration from nature. The silhouette of these lighting solutions was designed to resemble the stem of a slender tree, with a protruding branch that would be a perch for birds - which was also the inspiration behind the name. These discreet and elegant lamps boast a metallic structure and a polycarbonate shade, resulting in a minimalistic design that produces evenly diffused illumination for a range of settings. Whilst the 'branch' acts as an integrated dimmer on dimmable versions of the lamp.

The Foscarini Birdie collection is crafted from high-quality yet lightweight materials and offers three versions; Birdie which is the original design, Birdie Easy boasts the same iconic silhouette but offers an extended range of soft finishes and the Birdie Zero which is a more compact lamp and doesn't utilise a visible base.
