Flos Miss K

The Miss K Table Lamp was designed by Philippe Starke and remains one of his most popular designs to date. In 2004, he was awarded a Red Dot Award for this innovative light design. Throughout his career, Phillippe Starke’s style developed and evolved. However, some elements remained consistent. He preferred designs with an organic flow, with the addition of playful details. The Miss K Table Lamp Collection showcases these preferences beautifully. The sleek base curves organically up to the shade, which gives The Miss K a silhouette reminiscent of that of a classic table lamp. When lit, the goblet-shaped diffuser within the shade is illuminated, creating a completely different overall effect than when the lamp is switched off. This is in reference to Stark’s more playful nature, challenging expectations, and changing initial impressions of the lamp.
