The Flos 265 collection provides directional task lighting with a minimalistic silhouette and striking colour palette. Designed by Paolo Rizzatto in 1973, the 265 range has continued to evolve - first released in a singular size with only the choice between a black or white finish, the range now boasts multiple sizes and an added Chromatica colour option. 265 is as simple and intuitive as it is technical and precise: a suspended wall lamp comprising a head and weight, each balanced at the extremities of an adjustable arm and attached to the wall in an asymmetric position. The lamp head is rotatable, while the arm can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically, allowing you to direct the lighting output to wherever it is needed most.
Rizzatto's approach to 265, his first ever lighting design, was based on rationality, but it still doesn't ignore the aesthetic desires of its consumers. This elegant luminaire can be displayed in a range of settings; the available finish options mean it can adapt to both minimalistic and maximalistic interiors, and the lighting output makes it a beautiful and functional addition to workspaces, reading nooks and dining spaces. 265 can also leave its mark on larger commercial spaces such as offices, restaurants, hotels and libraries.
