Catellani & Smith Ale

The Ale collection by Catellani & Smith was designed by Enzo Catellani in 2022 and is an experiment with primary colours. The range utilises a unique silhouette and fun colour palette, achieving dynamic contemporary lighting solutions that can be used in a range of environments. The Ale lights produce a functional ambient glow that is either projected downwards (Ale Portable), indirectly towards the wall (Ale Wall) or indirectly towards the ceiling (Ale Ceiling). The portable version of this lamp also features an adjustable shade that allows you to direct the beam of the illumination.

Available as a Wall Light, Ceiling Light or Portable Lamp the Catellani & Smith Ale harnesses geometric shapes and does not ignore the details. Each lighting solution in the Catellani & Smith Ale Collection harnesses a small fly in a contrasting colour on the shade as a playful detail, while the black and the white versions of the Ale only use a different colour for the fly, the two multicoloured versions use a different colour for each component.
