Northern Diva Floor Lamp

The Diva Floor Lamp was designed by Peter Natedal & Thomas Kalvatn Egset for Northern. As the name suggests, this floor lamp is designed to be center-stage in any interior, catching the eye of those nearby. Its curved, sweeping silhouette is created using 32 individual oak strips, handmade with traditional Norwegian tools and techniques. Peter Natedal & Thomas Kalvatn Egset chose oak as the material for this shade due to its ability to be shaped into organic curves while remaining durable and strong. The shade’s spiraling shape means that the appearance of the lamp changes depending on its audience's point of view, forming multiple versions of a single design.

The Diva Floor Lamp is attached to a discreet polished steel base. The frame supports a mouth-blown, frosted glass globe that diffuses light into a gentle glow that surrounds the shade. The warm and ambient light is perfect for creating a welcoming ambiance in any interior.
