PH Artichoke Light by Louis Poulsen

The Artichoke light was originally designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen for the Langelinie Pavillonen restaurant in Copenhagen where it still hangs today. Now one of the most iconic lights worldwide, the Louis Poulsen PH Artichoke pendant purposefully provides 100% glare free light from every angle. The light source is hidden by the 72 precisely positioned ‘leaves’ which hang in 12 rows.

The leaves of each Artichoke light are still finished by hand in Louis Poulsen’s factory in Denmark, before being individually checked and hand-assembled onto the structure of the light. This process ensures that the quality of each Artichoke pendant is of the highest quality. The Artichoke provides a comfortable diffused light as well as illuminating itself making it an ideal statement piece in both residential and commercial spaces. The pendant is available in 4 sizes and 5 colour finishes.
