Flos Skynest LED Ceiling Light

Following the Skynest Suspension's success, Flos have released the ceiling and wall light version of the collection. Skynest was designed by Marcel Wanders Studio, and the product perfectly combines technological innovation with elegance.

Its basket-like effect comes from the carefully woven textile cable, which houses the LED strip. The design team was experimenting with different ways to wrap the LED strip while maintaining the light's artisanal look. They succeded when they tried wrapping the strip through a two-tone mesh, that is made of recycled plastic. By interweaving the different meshes, the product gets its kaleidoscopic look. True to their Flos For Planet ethos, the Skynest is yet another of their product where no glue is used to put it together. This way, the product can be disassembled for any repairs or recycled.

Skynest Ceiling is available in 4 colour options: anthracite, blue tormaline, brick red or almond, allowing you to match the product with any interior decor. The ceiling light emits a 360 light creating no shadows in its surroundings, making it a balanced luminaire.

You can dim the Skynest ceiling using 1-10V/Push/Dali dimming systems, and each LED strip is replaceable, so you can easily remove and add in a new one.
