Guns Table Lamp by Flos

The Gun table lamp by renowned designer Phillippe Starck for Flos is based on the design of a Kalashnikov AK47 and provides direct reading light and overall ambient lighting. Available in 18K polished gold, the Gun table light comes complete with an electronic dimmer on the cable.

Phillippe Starck makes a statement with his Gun collection about the fragility of life, with the contrast between the gold plated body of the lamp and the black shade, which is said to symbolise the link between money and death.

Designed to provoke thought and conversation, the inscription on the base of the table lamp reads: “Happiness is a hot gun”, sure to trigger lively discussion. On top of being a beautifully opulent designed product, 20% of sales from the Gun range are donated to anti-poverty charity Frères Des Hommes.
