Studio 14 is a Milan-based multidisciplinary design firm founded by Diego Bassetti and Andrea Panzieri in 2010. Bassetti graduated from the Polytechnic of Milan in Interior Architecture and Industrial Design in 2002, and Panzieri studied and graduated at the Polytechnic of Milan in Architecture, before obtaining a Masters Degree in Design and Bionics at the Research Center of the European Institute of Design in Milan.
The duo first met whilst working at Studio Rari under Bruno Rainaldi in 2005 and immediately formed a strong personal and working relationship. The studio specialises in architecture, product design, interior design and exhibition design and has collaborated with a wide range of renowned companies such as KDLN and Terzani.
Studio 14's name is a symbol of Bassetti and Panzieri's childhoods, as they both grew up in the same district, on the same street and in the same building — number 14. The work of Studio 14 is versatile and described as striking, their work is heavily inspired by geometric shapes and each creation is both beautiful and functional. Their work is supported by good planning and organisational skills and a focus on the artistic and graphic side of life.
