Sofie Lefevre

Sofie Lefevre had a very interesting and determined journey into design. She originally trained in medicine, studying it for a year before realising her passion lay in design. Lefevre then changed studies and ended up obtaining a degree in Innovation Design from the Royal College of Art in London. Several years in London and her degree gave her hands-on experience and the drive to pursue a career in the design field - she is now the founder of MAVRO // LEFÈVRE.

Lefevre is fascinated by how lighting transforms your interior, and she believes that a good design has to be relevant and that every piece she designs has to be either functional or emotional - otherwise, what is the point? She aims to create experiences that underpin and enriches the conduct and everyday life of human beings in both private and public spaces. Sofie Lefevre is most known for her work with Nordlux, specifically Design For The People, their smaller sub-brand.
