Samuel Wilkinson

Samuel Wilkinson studied furniture and product design at Ravensboure College of Art and Design where he graduated in 2002. During his years studying, Wilkinson won a vast array of awards including the RSA award and D&AD New Blood. Once his studies were complete, Wilkinson went straight into employment working for leading consultancies.

Wilkinson's work adds a fresh approach to the field, his designs show a high level of attention to detail, and highlight his deep understanding of materials and manufacturing. In 2010, Samuel Wilkinson opened his own industrial design studio, the studio pushes the boundaries across various disciplines varying from consumer product design to large commercial interiors. The London-based designer has completed design projects for huge brands such as British Airways, Audi, LG and Samsung.

I get approached to work on straighter commercial projects and you always have to take on a certain amount of those, but occasionally this doesn't give you enough room to explore projects that aren't directly financially rewarding." - Samuel Wilkinson
