Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec

Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec are a design duo consisting of two brothers who are based in Paris. Ronan Bouroullec was born in 1971, whilst Erwan was born in 1976. Both brothers studied at Ecole Nationale des Arts Decoratifs in Paris and at the École des Beaux-Arts in Cergy-Pontoise, straight out of his studies Ronan began taking on design projects which Erwan assisted with whilst he completed his studies.

In 1997 Ronan and Erwan were granted their first full time design project as a duo, and in 1999 the pair founded their own design studio; they presented their very first solo show in 2001 at Galierie Kreo. Their work has spanned numerous fields including product design, jewellery design and spacial design. Although a primary focus of their work is the design and organisation of interior spaces. The Bouroullec brothers have worked with numerous iconic brands, including Flos and Vitra.
