Rober Dabi is a multidisciplinary creative based near Nuremberg, where he studied his craft. Dabi was born in Romania and has lived in Germany since 1986, he began his work as a creative in 2002 and over the years has developed experience in product design, illustration, graphic design and photography. His graphic design began in 2010 when he co-founded a watch brand in Hong Kong.
He has since moved into the world of lighting design, where his work is driven by curiosity and allows him to constantly explore new ideas and experiment with materials. The first lamp he published won the Platinum A’ Design award in 2020. This same year Robert Dabi founded his own lighting design studio, Unform.
